    1. I rarely sleep and it catches up to me more often than I care to admit. I wish I could find a way to turn my head off. Believe me, I've tried everything imaginable and probably some unimaginable things as well. I sleep when my mind allows it and trust me, sometimes after being up for 2 or 3 days straight, I get a little dingy and spaced out.

  3. The uploader has not made this video available in your country. Who knew that uploaders were prejudiced?

    1. Those damn uploaders! How dare they prevent you from joining in the merriment. You probably can search youtube and find the video. It's Lady Marmalade with all the people listed in my labels.

  4. My goodness Mildred, I'm so sorry that you're going through that. I had insomnia for 2 days many, many years ago, and traveled from maryland to Canada, thinking for sure I'd sleep on the flight. I was there for a business meeting, and I can tell you it wasn't pretty, so I can just imagine your discomfort. I'm keeping you in prayer. I loved it when Patti Labelle sang it, and I loved this rendition as well. Thanks for the memories. Hugs...RO

    1. Oh, please don't be sorry. I've suffered from insomnia most of my life. Now, it's just an irritating way of life for me. There are times when I actually sleep well and when that happens I always wake up confused. I try to figure out why I can manage to sleep normally at times and why I can't do that all the time. I guess it's just one of life's great mysteries.

  5. Love this movie more than any man should. It could be the music...or maybe it was the woman with the most goddamned beautifully milky, creamy thighs and long legs in filmdom and...sorry. That sounds creepy, doesn't it? My apologies, Nicole.

Truly, I love Baz Luhrmann as well. If you love Moulin Rouge, you'll love "Strictly Ballroom."

  6. I love it when you get flustered. It makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

  7. You must do a lot of giggling then, considering how often I get flustered.

    1. [lol] are you flustered now? I actually prefer the word "flummoxed," so are you flummoxed now?
