My total prescriptions cost more than $100,000 per year. One prescription that I take by injection every 12 weeks is over $20,000 per shot. I often wonder what would become of me if I didn’t have insurance. Who out there struggles with out of pocket costs, copays and deductibles?
Your return to blogging slipped by me. Welcome back. As for the cost of medicine... My wife had a doctor give my her a prescription. I took it to Walgreens. They told me it was going to cost $2000 a month. I said no it's not, give me that script back, goodbye. I called her doctors office. They said, well we see if this one pharmacy in Pennsylvania we use can help you if you qualify. They will call you. They called and said they would check her qualification what ever that was. Apparently she qualified and we now get the medication sent to us from Pennsylvania, for free. That's right, FREE. I told a friend about this and she asked her doctor if there was a way to get her expensive medicine at a reduced cost. She's now getting it for FREE. I hate the pharmaceutical industry.
