Toothache Thursday

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:
The day - May 3rd
The year - 1937
Margaret Mitchell wins Pulitzer Prize for "Gone With the Wind"

ON THIS DAY IN MILDRED'S LIFE:
The day - May 3rd
The year - 2018
Mildred threatens to pull the damn demon tooth herself like she has with all the others in the past. I bet you didn't know Mildred is such a hardcore masochist and is well on her way to becoming toothless too!

Note to self: Maybe a lobotomy will work better!

  1. Sigh.
I have been wrestling with toothache for weeks now. And sadly there is NOTHING wrong with my teeth. The dentist suggests it is referred MS pain.
Never did I think I would long for a hole - which can at least be fixed.
    Good luck.

    1. It's a sham we didn't live closer. I'd lend you my tooth pulling skills!

I'm sorry you are having a bad time with your tooth. I hope you are able to find some relief from the pain. I actually numbed myself up enough last night to get some sleep. Isn't it horrible to get to th point where you'll try just about anything just to make it stop hurting?

    1. LOL Not exactly what I'd say, but I appreciate the thought. In the last few days I think I've used every cuss word known to man. Finally, my tooth eased off and I got some sleep and the wicked witch of the North went away...at least for the time being. I guess I had better knock on wood before it decides to make a return visit just to show me who's boss.

    1. Thanks! I'm feeling much better than I was last week. That damn tooth nearly drove me crazy. Trust me, it wasn't a pretty sight!
