Post a Movie Scene

The night before Halloween is called Mischief Night so in honor of that let's have some good old fashioned fun. Since I can't go egg the White House or leave a bag of burning dog poop on the front steps (I don't live close enough lol), I'll have to settle for some blogging chuckles instead. Jack Nicholson always gets me in this scene... who does it for you?

  1. Is it weird that I keep a clip I taped from the tv on my phone? It's when Deputy Chief Brenda Lee Johnson, of The Closer, is forced to apologize to three individuals, higher up than she, but who are total incompetents. Her apology is such that I never fail to laugh. I'll try to work the clip into tomorrow's post.

  2. I love "The Witches of Eastwick" but have not seen the movie for many years now. I remember reading about the scene you posted -- it was filmed in a Unitarian Universalist church because no Christian church would allow its premises to be used for a scene with the Devil. Hahahaha! Good ol' UUs! And now, I don't know if this memory is accurate, but did I also read somewhere that that church alone was spared when a hurricane or something blew through the town? It's quite the place.

    1. Thanks for that little bit of history on that scene. It was interesting. I went to A Unitarian church once with my daughter in law because we were curious. It was different...I can say that, for sure.
