Here's a rather controversial story coming out of the scientific community and one that you might want to weigh in on with your opinion after watching the video.
They can build a body, program that body with physical attributes, even to some degree certain skills and abilities, but my belief is every physical body has a soul and, at some point in life, the soul will win out over whatever programming and fulfill itself it its own way.
The ethical, practical and other questions are enormous, although i have no doubt there are people who will stand in line to get a "perfect" child. I wouldn't be one of them and wouldn't recommend it.
Even without watching/listening to it all I come down on the NO side of the equation. Selection for hair/skin/eye colour worries me. Big time.
